Oh Summer (Festivals), How We Love Thee!

As we mentioned last week, summer is here and we hope you are out there enjoying it as much as we are!  From walks on the beach to enjoying shops and parks in many of our neighbourhoods, there isn’t enough time to check everything out.

Last week, we talked about Summerlicious which, as a reminder, is on until July 21.  We also made brief mention of the summer festivals that are happening in and around the city.  For today, we are going into some more detail about those festivals so make some notes as you read on and make sure to put some of these into your calendar to check out!

Coming up this weekend (July 19-21), we have Pizza Fest happening at Ontario Place, BIG on Bloor, which is a fun day on Bloor Street West full of activities and BrazilFest at Earlscourt Park.  The next weekend (July 26-28), there is a beer festival at Bandshell Park and Taste of the Middle East at Yonge-Dundas Square.  Usually at these festivals, you can get a great sampling of foods from different cultures and countries which are offered at pretty good prices so you won’t be breaking the bank when trying new items.  Good food, lots of activities and being outdoors – who can beat that?

We at Shades use Blog TO as a great guide to find out what is going on in the city so check out the top festivals in Toronto this summer at https://www.blogto.com/radar/2019/06/summer-festivals-toronto-2019/.

Many cities and towns have lots of great things going on in the summer – just do some research and we are sure you will find lots to do and eat!

We hope you check out some of the info we’ve shared with you today and please share us on your social media channels!
